Lola Mitchell is a fine art photographer. She utilizes textures and digital painting to create stories through images.

She was born in Paris France and has been living in Los Angeles since 1999. Her father was a fashion and theater photographer (Jorge Damonte), and her mother was a contemporary dancer (Marcia Moretto). She grew up between a darkroom and a stage.

Heavy manipulations through digital editing and movement are elements found in all her work.

Mitchell now shoots a lot underwater. She finds it widely inspiring and will keep having a body of work that has both over and underwater creations.

Her photography is surrealistic, feminine and painterly.

She speaks 4 languages (french, spanish, italian and english) and hopes to learn Japanese someday.
